Fred Meyer and Local 3000 to Resume Negotiations

Fred Meyer and UFCW Local 3000 are scheduled to meet this week to continue discussions on the Grocery, Meat and CCK contracts for our Spokane associates.

What’s New

The company and union bargaining committees will be meeting on Thursday, February 15 and Friday, February 16. As we shared with you earlier, we have made progress and reached tentative agreements on many operational language items in your contracts.  We will continue our conversations on the economic elements of the contracts, including wages, healthcare, and pension benefits.

Why it Matters

As we have shared before, our goal is to put more money in your pockets with an agreement that includes competitive wages, affordable health care benefits and a pension plan for your retirement. While it can take time to move through the process, we remain optimistic we can reach an agreement that is a win for associates and is good for the company.

What’s Next

Throughout this process, we will be open, honest, and transparent and keep you updated as we know these negotiations are important to you.

We will continue to share bargaining updates posted on your store communication board, shared in huddles, and online here.  As soon as we have more information to share, we’ll provide an update.

Thank you for your continued uplifting service to our customers and communities.
